Chicago's Mayor Daley has pronounced that April 23 will be "Talk Like Shakespeare" day to commemorate Shakespeare's 445th birthday. Apparently, he got the idea from the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre.
Part of me thinks this is a silly idea, but it makes me glad knowing our mayor supports the arts.
The other part of me thinks this is a gigantic waste of time.
